Het aanpassen aan de kou hier valt even niet mee, maar gelukkig heeft de lente toch ook al een klein beetje voet aan de grond gekregen.

Surfacing
but not ready to blog yet. It was great (we were in South-Africa), but I got sick. I am getting better now, so I hope to be able to share some pictures soon.
Last minute
When I finally started packing I realized I hardly had any summer clothes at all. At least not in my current size. I gained a bit of weight lately. Ahem.
Luckily I found some help at the thrift shop. Although Im not sure about the dress at the bottom. When I asked my husband to find me a table cloth, he brought me that dress instead…

A bag and an apron
What to do when you are preparing for a two week vakation? Make a bag of course. Cause not one of the many bags I have works for what I need now (big, space for my camera, zippered pocket for passport and money). So I cut into my beloved Anna Maria Horner fat quarters.
Of course when I finished it, I could have started packing, but the scraps just seemed to beg me to make an apron out of them.
Okay, now I’ll go pack those suitcases.
