Knitting & Reading

Reading: finished another book by Janet Evanovich. I love her writing!
And I started a more serious (thick) one. In English, it’s called The Bible of Clay and it’s one of those thrillers that revolve around ancient texts (in this case the stories of Genesis as told by Abraham). I’m not sure what I think of it. I have a hard time concentrating, but that may not be the book’s fault.

Knitting: finished the hat (it will get it’s own blog post), working a bit on the shawl. Comfort knitting.

  1. The first name rings a bell, she writes a lot of women's literature, could that be? (chick flics?) The second one sounds interesting, I'd be intrigued, and it could either be very good or I'd go through the roof with anger. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I'm so glad that you can read and knit, I'm looking forward to seeing the hat! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Yes, chic flics would be a good name for that. Easy reading, I like that right now.The other one… hmn, I'm only halfway, but so far I think you don't have to get angry. I'm not an expert, but it seems to stay within limits of what is believed to be historically correct in and around what's in the Bible. But with these kinds of books you never know where it will end though. I'll keep you posted ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. yes, please do!! I'm really looking forward to that (and no, I don't have a problem with anything bible-related, just with folks who drive the “uhhhh this is APOCALYPTIC!” bandwagon a little too far (like Dan Brown ๐Ÿ˜‰ ). Easy literature is so great, I have a few knitting murder mysteries(!) that are very laid-back reading and they are really cool if I need to take the edge off. ๐Ÿ™‚
