November dishcloth
It took me a while to actually see what this was, but now I get it. It’s a turkey!
Halloween
Though it’s not really common to celebrate Halloween here, I like the idea of adding a holiday between summer and Sinterklaas (December 5th). So, here I am, baking spooky cookies and carving (tiny) pumpkins.Happy Halloween!
Mid-October dishcloth
I know this one: a pumpkin. 😉Still very much fascinated with making pictures appear like this.
October dishcloth
This is a really intriguing one. Seen from above, it’s just stripes, but when you look closer, it’s… um… an icecream? Edited to add: The last picture should be the other way around: it’s a candy corn! I never heard about that (I’m from the Netherlands), but there you go. And yes, I mixed up…
Another one
I had so much fun with the last one that I didn’t want to wait for the next dishcloth. So I made one from the archives. This is the mid-September pattern. It’s also the first lace I ever knit.
Dishcloth
In one of the knitting blogs I’m reading I found a link to a dishcloth knitalong. I thought it would be fun to join in. To be honest, I don’t really have a clue what to use these for (we use brushes or sponges for dishes here), but it’s a fun way to keep knitting…
A house
I made this as a housewarming/welcoming a baby gift for our new neighbors. It has a little bell in it to make it more fun for the baby to play with.
Finished!
The purple cardigan is done. I love it. No pattern, just made it up as I went along.
Oops!
Something bugged me about the picture of the started sleeve in the last post. Then I realized what it was: I started at the wrong end, the shoulder end. So I had to rip it out and start over. Again. But that’s what you get when you make things up when you go….To learn to work…
