I’m still going… well, semi-strong. I try to pick it up every day and the color changes keep it interesting. I would have preferred to do it without the blue, but I also want this top to cover my stomach and without the blue I was certain it wouldn’t. With the blue I’m about 75%…

A Friday post (or: can’t think of a good title for this one)
I’m afraid this will be a bit of a non-post. I’m just not feeling it this week, but I really, really want to keep blogging. I so admire people who can just post a few times a week, every single week, on a schedule. I wish I was that steady, but I’m not.. I am…
Right now
Right now I am… … trying to wake up. I slept very well tonight and I got up rather late, but it seems I could use even more sleep (had a bad case of insomnia the last two weeks) … enjoying the morning light. We’re nearing zenith (i e. the sun will be directly above…
Baby steps
So, last week, this happened: And I have been working on it every day since. It will take a while (thin needles, thin yarn, small stitches), but I am enjoying the process and that’s what counts. I was going to write an elaborate post about depression and burn-out and how picking up things I used…

Sunsets of course
Oh well, let’s just pick up where we left off, shall we? And it wouldn’t be my blog without a picture or two (well four) of the sunset (this was actually just one night). Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
He likes it
(Oh hi! Don’t ask me where I’ve been. I don’t really know myself.) I was uploading the very few pictures I took the past three months and found this gem. “Oh”, I thought, “that would have been a good one for the blog. Cute, but his face isn’t recognizable.” And then I realized I could…
Progress
I know… it looks shapeless and weird, but that’s exactly how it’s supposed to look. After you finish it, it’s supposed to fold a certain way and hey presto! A little sweater. That’s why it’s called a Baby Surprise Jacket, after all. It’s so much fun to knit this. I keep trying to fold it to…
