There are so many thoughts in my head, but I just can’t find the words. Some people have such a beautiful way with words, but I have always, even in my published novels, been writing in a way that is very down-to-earth, and easy to read and understand. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that, in fact, that’s what people liked about my books, but sometimes I feel frustrated.
I would like to be able to expres what these beautiful skies mean to me. How I feel lighter, calmer and comforted when I look at them.
I tried, but what I wrote didn’t make any sense. The sentences didn’t flow and the words felt unnatural. I was trying too hard. So I’m just going to keep it simple and down-to-earth.
I love looking at the sky and I hope these pictures bring you a little bit of joy too.
your writing style is lovely and sometimes experiences have no words!

I love looking at the sky too. I remember my mom saying once that she didn’t know how people always saw shapes in clouds, that she only just saw clouds. That’s kind of sad. I mean, I don’t always try to find shapes in clouds. A lot of times I’m just in awe of the clouds themselves. Or on a clear night out here in the country, looking up at the stars can be dizzying.
“the words felt unnatural”
I like to write, and it’s a dream to write novels, but like you say, my writing tends to be more blunt and basic. When I try to be more grand, it all just sounds fake. And I tend to lose interest in things that are written with tons of fluff and sappy filler.

I stopped trying to find shapes, but sometimes I just see them. It is kind of sad if people never do, I agree.
I guess we just need to accept our writing style and stop worrying. I agree, some people write too fluffy.

I think we all struggle with finding our voice in writing. For me, your posts are always so authentic and real. I feel as though I could easily have a conversation with you! Love the photos:)

Thank you so much, I really needed to hear that. I really struggle with my blogging voice a lot, especially since English is not my native language, nor do I speak it on a daily basis.
